The hi port pelham bit is perfect for show riders that prefer a single mouthpiece. This plated pelham bit features a double link curb chain with a shank design.
The pelham bit can be used with either snaffle or curb reins. The curb rein exerts pressure on the poll and chin (through the curb chain), whereas direct pressure on the snaffle rein exerts pressure on the side of the mouth.
