Cheek Protectors are fitted to both sides of a loose ring bit to prevent the bit from rubbing and chaffing the corners of the horse’s mouth.
Horse cheek guards also protect the bit from pinching a horse's lips and stop the bit from sliding through the horse’s mouth.
